I can attest that the hopes and dreams of the congregation of the First Presbyterian Church
of  Farmington have been realized. We thank you for your graciousness, skill, and clarity of
knowledge that led us from first imagining the possibility of this instrument to seeing and
hearing it today.

We are only discovering the possibilities of this beautiful instrument -- musically and
visually -- to enhance our praise of and thanksgiving to God – possibilities you have taken
the time to introduce with your ready willingness to receive a phone call to answer a
question and hands-on tutoring.

Throughout the entire experience we have known that you are committed to church music as
a vital part of the entire worship life and ministry of a congregation. We give thanks for
that dedication and commitment.

Evola Music

Dear Evola Music:

I am a pianist by trade, but the liturgy of our Lutheran worship service is much more
beautiful when accompanied by the sound of an organ.  After several years of pumping an
electronic keyboard through the sound system, I recommended that we look at something
with a more realistic organ sound.

There was a history of Allen organs in the congregation - - a 1950’s model from the former
church sat in the balcony, but it lacked the horsepower to fill our new expansive sanctuary.
A post card to Allen headquarters put me in direct contact with Evola Music.

The organ consultant did an excellent job leading us through the process - - taking the time
to determine our specific needs, demonstrating the organ’s features at a nearby church,
overseeing the installation process, and even playing for the organ’s dedication recital.

The new organ has been a wonderful addition to our worship services, has enhanced the
beauty of several wedding ceremonies, and has expanded the repertoire of the community
chorale which rehearses and performs at the church.  The electronic features have enabled
me to compensate for my rudimentary organist skills, accompany myself on trumpet solos,
and even cover a worship service during my summer vacation.

I would wholeheartedly endorse the Allen Organ and Evola Music for anyone looking to
enrich their Sunday worship.

Sincerely,
Gregory J. Bailey, Organist

The following are factors that helped us make our decision, and have supported our action
since we made the purchase:

1. You came to our church on several occasions, each time exactly when we desired and
when you promised. We feel that we are fully supported for future service without worry
about distance from the dealership.

2. You did not pressure us in any way. You provided excellent information, and made us
feel comfortable about seeking all other options and asking the tough questions that are
necessary when making a decision related to a major expenditure such as this.

3. Your installation was done professionally, and to our compete satisfaction. We had
hoped that the organ could be installed quickly after purchase so that it was available for
the upcoming Advent and Christmas season. You said that it would be done in time and you
kept your promise. The members of our congregation enjoyed the new organ for Advent
and Christmas services.

4. You had promised to come back after the installation to train all of our organists, and to
respond to any needed adjustments in organ voicing after we had time to evaluate the
sounds.

Again, you were good to your word. At our suggested time, you came to train the organists,
and did an excellent job of making sure that even the most timid of our teenage organ
players had a full understanding of the functions of the various controls on the console.

Lance Luce went beyond what would be considered extraordinary to see that the organ was
installed properly and that we were pleased with it.

Caro Church of the Nazarene

Lance Luce is to be acknowledged and commended. Lance met with
us often not only before purchasing the Organ, but also during and after the purchase was
completed.
Lance spent numerous hours sharing his product knowledge and expertise to accomplish the
following:
1. personally attending demonstrations at other churches;
2. Presenting options for us to sell our old organ;
3. Installing the organ with our personal requests and needs in mind;
4. Demonstrating and teaching our organists on numerous occasions;
5. Making "on- the - spot" return visits for adjustments, speaker placements, our personal
preference changes;
6. Arranging and advertising a Concert in our church
.......And all of this was accomplished graciously and cheerfully, making us
feel like we were Lance's only customer.

ST MARY OUR LADY OF THE SNOW
1955 E. Commerce Rd
Milford, MI  48381

When I first arrived in Milford at St Mary’s parish in 1991, I saw great potential to
develop a Liturgical Music Program. My first meeting with the eleven voice Parish Choir
proved to me that there was an interest in developing an adult choral ensemble.  Within
five years, the choir grew to a fifty voice ensemble.  A Children’s Choir soon followed
and now boasts a membership of approximately sixty voices.  For many years our choirs
have performed with piano accompaniment.  This was due to the fact that we had a very
basic electronic Allen Organ from the late sixties.  As our Music Program grew, the need
for a new organ became obvious.
There were some challenging issues that would need to be studied and resolved.  How
much money would the Parish be willing to spend for this project?  Was there enough room
for a large pipe organ?  It was decided that the room for pipework was nominal and
installing a small pipe organ was viewed as a waste of money.  The dry acoustics of the
church would not allow a true pipe organ to blend and resonate.  The new affordable
Quantum Organ would fit into our space, give us a large three manual instrument and would
include acoustic enhancement producing a rich organ sound.  After three years of study and
research we purchased a new Allen Quantum Organ and it was installed in August 2005.
The impact of the new organ was obvious to everyone.  From the first verse of “Joyful,
Joyful We Adore You” the congregation was in awe and sang with vigor and confidence.
Moments of prayer and reflection were more inspiring and powerful with the ambience of
soft flutes, strings and colorful reeds.  People had not heard such glorious sound from the
previous electronic organ.  Following Mass on that first Sunday, people were asking where
the pipes were located.  I explained that we did not have room for a good pipe organ and
that our new organ uses digital sound reproduction.  All agreed that the sound was
amazingly  like that of a real pipe organ.  With the addition of our new Allen Quantum
Organ, our Sunday Mass experience has become more prayerful, powerful and inspiring.
One of the most exciting features of the new organ is the ability to record and play back
choral accompaniments and organ pieces.  In the past, our choirs performed almost
exclusively with piano accompaniment.  The Organ Console is in a location where the
choir cannot see me directing if I am playing.  With the auto playback, I can stand in front
of the choir directly,  while the organ plays the accompaniment automatically.  Organ
Preludes and Postludes may be recorded and played back before and after mass.  This
allows me to tend to the choir, other ministers or other details prior to a liturgy.  If I am
predisposed, choir members or other musicians can begin the prelude on time or start the
postlude with the push of a button.
The most important aspect of our new Allen Quantum Organ is that it raises the
awareness of the uniqueness and importance of the organ as the primary instrument of the
church.  While it is not possible for every church to spend a half million dollars or more
for an authentic pipe organ, the new Allen Quantum Organ is an incredible reproduction.
The Organ reigns as the “King of the Instruments” at St Mary’s in Milford thanks to the
Allen Organ Company.

I had the privilege of working with Mr. Lance Luce in the selection and installation of our
new organ, and I must say that I was extremely pleased with his customer service. He's an
ideal person to know in music; calm, considerate, polite, pertinent, helpful, kind, and very
knowledgeable.

I continue to enjoy consulting with him, and am extending my knowledge of his awesome
musical services to all Churches that I'm connected with and encounter.
Sincere thanks!

We are so pleased with the help we have received from Lance with showing us how to use
all the many extras on the organ, with his continued visits, where he sits down and shows
us just enough to practice and learn and then, the next visit opens up unbelievable new
features of this wonderful instrument.

I would highly recommend his services to any one purchasing a new organ. I could never
enjoy all the many features while playing for our church without his repeated help in
learning them step by step.

I write this letter because I think it should be known that our church wasn't purchasing the
largest, most expensive organ on the showroom floor, in fact, ours was a used 2 manual
model that would have been mid-priced even when new. So, why all the attention? Why all
the concern over a customer who was buying "used"? That's the point. It didn't matter to
Lance. What mattered was doing the right thing; helping a congregation make it through a
tough time, all-the-while striving to be as accommodating as possible, regardless of the
extra cost or personal inconvenience.

For his remarkable attitude and outstanding effort, Mr. Lance Luce should be
recognized.

Mr. Lance Luce, is a dedicated and knowledgeable representative for your company. Mr.
Luce was extremely accommodating, flexible and helpful to me as I was attempting to
digest facts and figures in my quest for just the right instrument at just the right price.

Mr. Luce was always available to me through phone and email, even when he was on
vacation! That is true dedication. His musicianship and knowledge of instruments is top-
notch. I felt my church was in good hands with him. Indeed the congregation, pastor, and I
are thrilled with the new instrument.

The installation process, despite presenting some unforseen challenges, was relatively
smooth, in large part because of the years of professional experience and enthusiasm Lance
and his team brought with them to our project. I have seen Lance at work in other church
settings and installations as well, and can reasonably attest that he brings the same energy
and positive outlook everywhere he goes. Lance’s character and integrity are second-to-
none. His approach is consultative-he sells only by fitting and filling organists’ needs. He’s
always smiling, too-I’m sure because of the love and commitment he has toward his work.

What a marvelous experience it has been to work with Lance Luce in the selection and
installation of this instrument. His extreme sensitivity to our needs as well as his consistent
cordiality have made the process a delight from beginning to end.

Lance has been much more a support-person than a "sales-person" in that
he took seriously the integrity and improvement of our parish music program.
Consequently, we at St. Colette feel we have made and excellent choice in instruments and
companies as opposed to simply making a purchase. Lance
has shown his care and concern during the purchase process and in the personal follow-up
after the organ was installed.

I cannot recommend Mr. Luce highly enough. He has all the qualities to appreciate in a
salesman: knowledgeable but humble, respectful but humorous, a good businessman but
flexible with a church budget. I believe Mr. Luce is extremely trustworthy. I appreciate his
professionalism. He exceeded my expectations in the personal involvement he gave to us in
training and advice, and in supporting our fund-raiser with his enthusiastic presence.

We were amazed at the “can-do” attitude expressed by you and the installation
staff. Even when the installation became challenging, you continued with a positive attitude
and completed the project on time.
Your hard work and dedication to your craft is admirable and of the highest
quality. Our parish wants to thank you for the work, the instrument, and providing us with a
quality installation that makes our worship excel.

At no time did we feel pressured to make a decision. Lance was very knowledgeable about
the instrument and gave precise answers to every question we had. Dealing with him was a
very positive experience.  During the removal of our old organ and the installation of the
new one, it became even more obvious that he not only knew this instrument, but was a
very hard worker and very accomplished musician also. His willingness to demonstrate the
organ and come back if we felt the need for further instructions was commendable.

I am grateful to you for your patient, knowledgeable and helpful assistance in the selection,
purchase and installation of this splendid instrument. I am particularly appreciative of the
time and concern you have provided to ensure our various organists and pastoral staff
understand how to make the most and best use of the organ in our worship. Your unfailing
good cheer coupled with the time you have given and are willing to give are a source of
comfort and assurance to one who knows so little about a chapel organ other than its
importance in our worship. My most grateful thanks.

We are delighted with our new Allen organ! It was a hard choice to give up our pipe organ,
but the sound quality from our Allen organ has made fans out of some of our skeptics.  As
you know, there is a considerable cost to maintaining a pipe organ, and we are now able to
reallocate the funds we would have spent on repairs to supporting our church’s healing
mission.  We love that we have been able to do this without sacrificing the quality of music,
which inspires us at our services.

The Allen Organ Company had been recommended by several musicians for the quality of
their instrument and their service.  I had a taste of both firsthand back in Erie, Pennsylvania
when I took lessons on the largest Allen organ at that time.  I remember being awed by the
sound, and witnessing the company install innovations as they came along.  A company that
stands behind its product is a company with integrity, and we considered that as we chose
our new organ.

We thank you at Evola for working with us through the decision making and installation
processes.  We appreciate your expertise and patience as we made the transition from our
pipe organ to our new Allen.

The congregation has recently been seen staying in the sanctuary until the end of the
postlude to catch the last notes of awe-inspiring majesty.

Sincerely,

Dear Jim,
I wanted to thank Evola Music for providing such a pleasurable experience to me. Earlier
this year, I set out to find the perfect church organ for our Chapel at St. James Roman
Catholic Church in Novi. Our Chapel seats approximately sixty people and it is used for
three daily services per week and for intimate weddings or funerals.
One might think that selecting an instrument for a small space would be easy. However,
musical instrument manufacturers often substitute cheaper materials and assembly in their
smaller and more budget-conscious instruments.  For this reason, I sought the assistance of
Lance Luce. After his careful consideration of my space restrictions and my strong concern
with build quality, Lance proposed what I found to be the perfect solution for St. James - an
Allen Protégé Series C-3A.
Unlike other manufacturers, Allen consistently uses the same construction and durability
throughout their organ line. The C-3A provides ample sound for the worship space, the
Allen keyboards feel solid and precise and the sample quality of the organ stops is excellent.
Finally, the smaller console dimensions suit our narrow room especially well. I know of no
other manufacturer who offers this level of console quality, sound and durability in a smaller
instrument such as the C-3A.
In fact, Lance handily used a laptop to adjust my reverb levels and take advantage of the
note-by-note voicing capability of the organ. Even in a small chapel, it’s not uncommon to
need voicing to overcome flaws in the audible space (ours was no exception).  Lance used
the very same software to voice my instrument that he uses to voice larger three and four
manual custom Allen organs. What confirmation that I had made a sound investment for our
congregation!
Our chapel is only adequately lit. Lance’s recommendation of the lighted music
rack/pedalboard option was perfect for my needs. The included locking roll top is
especially useful since the chapel also accommodates children’s liturgies every weekend.
Every step of my experience, from Lance’s initial assessment and consultation, Donna’s
(Lance’s administrative assistant) prompt response and first quality delivery and installation
were perfectly executed. I am proud, as a steward of my congregation, to have selected such
a long-lasting and reliable instrument from such a trusted and reliable dealer.

Sincerely,

Christ Lutheran Church

Sterling Heights, MI  48313

Christ Lutheran Church of Sterling Heights, Michigan decided a new digital organ was
needed.  My wife and I accepted the position of co-chairs for the project.  It was
generally felt we would need at least two years to amass outside our regular church
budget the thousands of dollars needed.  We contacted Evola Music and discussed our
situation with Mr. Lance Luce, chairman of the Evola Organ Department.

I cannot over emphasize the significance of the aid and direction Lance gave our
committee.  His proposal was an Allen 285 model organ which we thought might be
more of a cash challenge than our members could afford.  Lance encouraged us to
proceed with the Allen 285 which he felt strongly was the model instrument we needed.
We followed his advice.

Over the next six months, I was in contact with Lance again and again.  He was prone to
reply promptly to every question I presented and to suggest solutions which were
instrumental in completing the funding.  Our organ project began in December of 2007.
With the help of Lance, we were funded sufficiently to place our order with Evola
Music in April, 2008.  The 285 was installed during the month of August, 2008 - fully
paid.  This would have been impossible without the help and concern given us by
Lance.  I was deeply impressed when he came to the church and supervised the
installation.

After installation, Lance personally presented an Organ Recital so as to demonstrate the
many facets of our new Allen.  He is an accomplished professional musician and our
sanctuary was packed so as to enjoy his review.  In all areas I would suggest that Lance’
s background and success with organ projects such as ours is ‘in a class by itself’.

Sincerely,

Dr. Robert E. Roddewig, PhD
In June 2005, discussion began at St. John the Evangelist regarding the failing 17-rank
pipe organ (installed in the early 1920s by combining portions of several used, theatre
pipe organs). It had become costly "just to keep it playing." Often the piano had to be
used for weekend services. After a year of research it was decided that the cost of
replacing or rebuilding the pipe organ couldn't be justified.

One of the St. John's organists suggested that the church consider an Allen digital organ.
Over the years he had played for several churches that had Allen installations, as well
as having his own Allen organ at home for practice. Members of the organ committee
met with the sales representative from Evola Music in Canton, Michigan, to discuss
their needs and expectations.

A field trip to hear several nearby Allen installations was arranged. After hearing the
new Allen instruments and learning that the Allen console could also control the pipe
organ - if financial resources ever became available to rebuild portions of the pipe
organ - it was decided that a new Allen organ would be a wise move for the parish. St.
John has retained the pipe work, knowing that the Allen console could operate the pipes
sometime in the future, if desired.

Since the organ's installation many positive comments have been made about its
performance. Parishioners especially enjoy the Festival Trumpet stop and the versatility
of Quad Suite™ voicing and EAC™ (Expanded Audio Capabilities).

Our small pipe organ was no longer viable, and perhaps never did meet the needs for sound
in the building. I had experience with the Allen company for over 35 years and noted
remarkable improvement in technology and in sound over that period.
Evola assisted us in choosing the organ that best addressed our needs and gave us many
options for further upgrades. Speaker boxes were installed in such a way that it did not
detract from the lines and environment. The new system provided an increased versatility
we had not known before. Evola has been very helpful with the rare occasion where
technical assistance was required. Our organists, often doctoral students in music at the
University of Michigan, were very pleased with its performance. One chose the organ for
one of his doctoral concerts.
In subsequent years we have chosen to upgrade the organ twice at a reasonable cost so that
even more options are now available to us. I am particularly impressed with the technology
that more closely resembles the pipe organ in its use of the "chiff" and sustain resonance the
remains in the air after the key has been released. A pipe organ of such quality would have
been impossible to purchase in the current economy. Good stewardships demands another
option and I believe we were wise in our choice of the Allen!

Dear Evola Music:
I am pleased with the Allen Organ that you and your colleagues installed in our sanctuary
recently.  The new organ is a noticeable improvement on our old organ.  Our new Allen
Organ is working well in accompanying hymn singing, preludes and postludes.
Our Organ Committee first contacted you and I had the pleasure of attending the
presentation.  It was very good and helped our committee make an informed decision.
Thank you for voicing the organ – it sounds wonderful in our sanctuary.
I recommend an Allen Organ, Evola music and your consultant and service technicians to
all churches, groups and individuals who are searching for a new organ!  Thank you for all
your help and assistance.

Dear Jim,
I want to let you know how elated I am with my “Evola Experience” during the planning,
creation, and installation of our new Allen Renaissance Quantum Organ.  All goals and
expectations for a finely crafted musical instrument have been exceeded in every respect.  To
this end, many skilled individuals effectively coordinated all aspects of this nine month
project.

My thanks and appreciation is extended to Lance Luce, Evola Church Music Consultant, for
effectively communicating all custom design details with the Allen technical staff in
Pennsylvania.  Lance’s technical product knowledge was essential and always evident in this
process and his commitment to total client satisfaction was always a priority.
Lance’s administrative staff is also to be commended for their friendly and effective handling
of information, records and other data.

Finally, the Allen Organ Company receives my gratitude and regard for upholding the highest
musical standard of quality and craftsmanship in the creation of this custom musical
instrument of moderate size.  Every detail has been perfectly interpreted and executed by
dedicated and experienced artisans.

My thanks again to you, Jim, and the Evola team for allowing me to realize a musical dream.

Kindest regards,

As the new pastor of Central Woodward Christian Church I quickly discovered that our
historic Casavant pipe organ was nearing the end of its natural life.  We had to make a
decision as to whether to rebuild the organ, which would likely include the purchase of a new
console and removing and reconfiguring our pipes, or go in a new direction.  After we called
Patrick Kuhl to be Minister of Music and Organist in January 2009, we began the process of
discernment that led to our engagement with Lance Luce and Jim Evola of Evola Music.

Being that this congregation had a long history with pipe organs, moving to a digital organ
was not an easy choice.  As part of our process we engaged a pipe organ builder who was
familiar with our sanctuary and the configuration of the organ as it had been built in its
original location in a cathedral size church in Detroit.  In the course of our discussions with
Lance, which included a field trip to two congregations that had installed Allen organs and
were either in the process of interfacing them or had already done so, we discovered that we
could not only recreate much of the grandeur of our original pipe organ, but we could expand
in ways almost unimaginable our musical capabilities.

Now fully installed and interfaced, we’ve been blessed to experience the value, versatility,
and beauty of this organ’s sound.  We’ve already held two recitals, one by our organist,
focusing on sacred and spiritual music, and the second, featuring Lance Luce himself, which
introduced attendees to many of the other elements of the organ, especially the digital sounds.
Because we wish for this instrument to be a blessing to the community, not just as an
instrument for traditional church organ music, but to support a full range of experiences, we
are excited about where this all will lead.

On behalf of Pat Kuhl and our congregation, I can say that Lance Luce and Jim Evola have
been quite gracious to us, helping us make a good choice in an instrument and then helping us
make the most of what was chosen.  I can’t speak too highly of their work, especially that of
Lance Luce.

Sincerely,

Dr. Robert Cornwall
